The Cisco Catalyst C9300X-48HXN-EDU is a 48-port high-performance multigigabit switch from the Catalyst 9300X Series, designed specifically for K–12 and educational institutions under the EDU SKU, which provides cost-effective licensing and procurement for schools and public education networks.

This model offers a flexible port configuration featuring 8 multigigabit (mGig) ports supporting speeds up to 10G, and 40 ports supporting up to 5G, enabling it to deliver exceptional bandwidth for Wi-Fi 6/6E access points, digital classrooms, e-learning platforms, and other high-bandwidth educational technologies—all over existing copper cabling.
